Website Launch Checklist for Developers
Use this checklist to prepare a developer-focused website for Google indexing, AdSense review, community promotion and repeat visits.
Indexing and search visibility
- Submit https://www.codescolorhtml.com/sitemap.xml in Google Search Console.
- Inspect the home page, /en, /en/developers and /en/color-palettes with URL Inspection.
- Request indexing for the most important new pages after deployment.
- Check that canonical and hreflang tags point to the correct English and French URLs.
Developer audience growth
- Publish short examples on Dev.to, Hashnode, Medium or a personal blog with links to the relevant tool.
- Share one useful snippet at a time on LinkedIn, X, Reddit communities and frontend Discord servers.
- Create Pinterest pins for color palettes, gradients and HTML color names.
- Answer developer questions with helpful context and link only when the page solves the problem.
AdSense readiness
- Keep About, Contact, Privacy, Terms, Cookies and Editorial Policy pages visible from the footer.
- Avoid asking users to click ads or using artificial traffic sources.
- Configure Google Privacy and messaging or a certified CMP for EEA, UK and Switzerland visitors.
- Place ads only after Google approves the site and keep content clearly separated from ads.
Technical launch checks
- Run a production build before each deployment.
- Test mobile performance on the home page and the most visited tools.
- Verify /ads.txt, /robots.txt, /sitemap.xml and /manifest.json return 200.
- Check analytics events in Realtime after deployment.
